For 50 years a reference point for the cereal sector in the Cerignola countryside. A family-run company that grew alongside its farmers.

Our story

A family business

Pineta srl has been operating in the agri-food sector of our region for about 50 years and three generations, passing on the love and passion for our work and our land from father to son.

We often notice that the generational handover happened in parallel between our company and our suppliers. The working relationships that once took place between our fathers continue today between us, the next generation — a decades-long story of collaboration, esteem, friendship and respect that go beyond work.

The company started as a hydrocarbon trading business, later evolving into fuels and lubricants for agricultural use. Step after step, authorisations for the sale of crop protection products and fertilizers were added over the years, followed by the trading of seeds and cereals.

It was born in a wonderful place, the Agro of Cerignola, the second largest farming district in Italy, rich in biodiversity, in the heart of the Tavoliere of Puglia, the Granary of Italy. Since 1997 our core business has been the cereal sector, partnering with the leading national brands of the milling industry.

Manages financial relationships with banks and with the company's various consultants; oversees and coordinates the administrative teams of partner companies.
