Supply chain and territory
Four thematic paths to tell what sustainability really means along the durum wheat supply chain of the Tavoliere.
paths
For Pineta, sustainability is not just a statement: it is the way we have selected seeds, valued wheat and cared for the Tavoliere of Puglia since 1956.
We work in short supply chains with Italian mills and pasta makers: every batch of durum wheat is tracked from field to silo, from sowing to delivery. This lets us guarantee consistent quality and, at the same time, return real value to the farms that grow with us.
Sustainability also means caring for what surrounds us: the pinewood that gives the company its name, water management, soil fertility, the people who live and work in this corner of Puglia. Every agronomic and commercial decision is taken within this frame.
